TeleCommunication Systems Appoints Brian McNealy as Senior Vice President, Global Commercial Sales
Industry Veteran to Focus on Opportunities for Messaging, Location, Navigation and Public Safety Products and Services
ANNAPOLIS, MD, Jun 09, 2011 — TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. (TCS) (NASDAQ: TSYS), a world leader in highly reliable and secure mobile communication technology, today announced that Brian McNealy has joined TCS as senior vice president, global commercial sales. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of commercial sales, including the development of strategic partnerships, distribution channels, and sales of the company’s portfolio of messaging, location, navigation, and emergency 9-1-1 products and services.
Mr. McNealy has thirty-one years of successful sales management experience in the commercial telecommunications and technology industry. Recently, as vice president of sales for Camiant during its purchase by Tekelec, he expanded worldwide channel programs, secured numerous customer installations, and achieved strong year-over-year growth. Prior to Camiant, as Verisign’s vice president of mobility sales, he maximized performance of three sales organizations that represented a portfolio of mobile media, interactive messaging, core network services, security solutions, and managed services. Before Verisign, Mr. McNealy led sales programs as a vice president of Telcordia Technologies, FusionOne, and Nortel Networks.
