Madrid, May 14 – Telefonica Global Solutions announces the launch of its comprehensive catalogue of services over IPX: the Global Solutions’ IPX Suite. This integrated set of products allows its customers to step from IP into the IPX world with a multi-service sharing solution for their interconnection needs.
Designed to fully comply with current GSMA requirements, this unique offering has been designed and tested following a year’s implementation by Telefonica Global Solutions acting as the global interconnection provider, and now IPX Provider, for the Telefonica group worldwide. The IPX Suite provides a simple solution to its customers for all their current and future interconnection needs.
This new IPX Suite, provides a robust architecturefor efficiently sharing interconnections between multiple services, extending this capability to the contractual level and combines it with extensive quality and security features. This exceptional combination allows our customers to reduce their costsby minimizing the amount of interconnections needed to acquire different services and speeding up the contracting procedure and implementation of new services. In addition, customers can expect consistent service quality and the reassurance of a flexible catalogue of products with the ability to adapt to future challenges and services.
The IPX Suite offers a combination of legacy services including VoIPX, SIGTRAN Signalling, GPRS/GRX with next generation IP services such as LTE Diameter, LTE Data Roaming or RCS IPX Hub. Along with the pure interconnection services, there are important Value Added Services, including: Roaming Services (Data Roaming Manager, Data Roaming Optimization, Steering of Roaming and Welcome SMS), Enterprise ServicesasSMS A2P) and any other service sharing the IPX interconnection, like MVNE.
