Telsis Adds ‘Push’ Option To Just Dot Me Service

– extension to SMS notice board service adds auto-delivery of next posting

Telsis Just Dot Me, the unique SMS notice board service able to make every one of the world’s five billion mobile phones into a platform for instant personal publishing, is now even more compelling with the unveiling today of an extension that enables push delivery.

Just Dot Me users post information just by texting it to a shortcode. A post can then be accessed by anyone, anywhere, with any handset, by simply texting a dot (.) to the poster’s mobile number.

With extended Just Dot Me, users post information just the same, but anyone who texts double dot (..) automatically receives the poster’s next update, immediately it is submitted.

The key strengths of the service are simplicity and ubiquity. Telsis Just Dot Me is a network-based service, not a handset app, so works for all customers on any type of phone – all without the need for the Internet, software downloads, special handsets or specific operating systems. Globally, there are over five billion mobile phones, and each one supports SMS.

“This is a logical extension to Just Dot Me that increases its utility, says Just Dot Me inventor, Telsis chairman and founder Jeff Wilson. “Anyone wanting to access information published by their friends, family, or organisations and brands, now has more control. It’s easy and quick to do, they get the updates they want, but can be safe in the knowledge that they will not be deluged with messages they do not want.”

Telsis has delivered service innovations to Tier 1 telecoms networks globally for almost a quarter of a century. The company’s solutions enable operators to generate more revenue, strengthen their brands, recruit and retain more customers, drive up Net Promoter scores and increase profitability.

Telsis’ portfolio of services is backed by proven engineering skills, system integration expertise, and a deep understanding of human factors, all of which combine in solutions that enable operators to offer customers exciting and practical services with compelling real-world appeal.
