5G is the latest iteration of LTE network technology. It opens up a realm of new possibilities once deployed, but widescale adoption requires further investment and prioriti- sation. To get 5G rolled out nationwide is just as large an engineering project as the full fibre rollout is and it’ll be a similar piece of work when the next iteration of 5G comes along.
