Thomson and First Choice, supported by Siptel, T-Systems, Bookers and Walkers get set to go the extra mile for Sport Relief
The Thomson and First Choice call centre, based in Coventry, is proud to announce its support for Sport Relief 2012 along with Siptel and T-Systems who are supporting the technology for the charity event.
On Friday 23rd March, Sport Relief hits the airwaves with a fantastic night of TV and 150 volunteers from the holiday company will be spending their Friday night taking donation calls.
The call centre team will be getting active and fundraising themselves by dressing up in fancy dress, baking cakes and selling buffet items all in the name of charity. Special thanks also go to local businesses, Bookers Cash & Carry and Walkers who have kindly offered to donate food and refreshments during the night.
In 2010 over 90 call centres, staffed by a phenomenal 6,340 charitable volunteers, supported the Sport Relief campaign, helping to raise a mind blowing £44 million. This year, Sport Relief is warming up for another huge night of fundraising with the help of the incredible team from Coventry.
As one of the UK’s biggest fundraising events, Sport Relief brings the entire nation together to get active, raise cash and change lives. All the money raised by the public helps people living unimaginably tough lives, both at home in the UK and across the world’s poorest countries.
