Thomson Video Networks to Participate in Standardization Panel at TV Connect London Show
RENNES, France — Feb. 19, 2014 — At the upcoming TV Connect London show, Patrick Gendron, technology officer at Thomson Video Networks, will participate in a panel discussion titled “What Can Standardization Organizations Do to Make Implementation Faster?” The session is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18, at 5:30 p.m. in conjunction with the TV Connect London conference at the Olympia.
The panel discussion will address key questions and topics of interest to connected TV service providers, including whether alliances and consortiums will be able to streamline the industry, whether there should be a common strategy for the future, how to manage the multitude of new standards in the market, and an overview of the commercial drivers to reduce this market fragmentation.
