ATLANTA, Ga., U.S.A. – August 12, 2010 – Movius Interactive Corporation, a global leader in value added communication services, today announced the appointment of two senior executives to strengthen its presence throughout the Latin American region.
Ronaldo Venci as VP of Sales of the CALA region and Fabio de Almeida as Sales Director for the Caribbean, Central America and Mexico, bring executive experience gained with the likes of BellSouth International, Sprint Telecommunications, Lucent and VeriSign – as well as direct knowledge of the region and its diversified markets.
Movius has a considerable track record in the region and earlier this year signed a multi-year, multi-national agreement with Telefonica International SAU to supply its new Side-Line™ multi-line mobile application in 12 of Telefonica’s mobile operations in Latin America.
Venci, who is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, has more than 20 years’ experience and has held senior management positions with EDS, IBM, BellSouth International, Lucent and VeriSign with responsibilities stretching across the US and CALA. He holds an Executive MBA in General Management from the International Management Business School São Paulo, a MSc in Finance and Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas and a BS in Mathematics and Computer Sciences.
De Almeida, who will report directly to Venci, has previously held senior sales and marketing positions at Sprint Telecommunications, BellSouth International and VeriSign – He is an accomplished tri-lingual (English, Spanish and Portuguese) senior professional with 20 years of experience in the US, Caribbean and Latin America markets. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Drury University and a Masters Degree in International Management from the University of Dallas, Texas.
