London, UK – March 28, 2012: Tribold, the world’s leading provider of Enterprise Product Management (EPM) software specifically developed for Communication Service Providers (CSPs), today announces its collaboration in a TM Forum Catalyst project intended to demonstrate how to maximize efficiencies in Lead to Cash processes across both network and IT environments.

By demonstrating use of consistent standards across business processes and data integration in a B2B Cloud VPN IP MPLS network scenario, the Catalyst project aims to help the industry better understand and leverage relationships between ITIL (a common cross industry standard for B2B systems delivery) and Frameworx eTOM (an industry-agreed standard for a multi-layered view of key business processes).

Entitled: ‘Optimizing Lead to Cash with Frameworx-ITIL-B2B-Cloud Integration’, the Catalyst has outputs that include:

·         Mappings between specific ITIL activities and data elements, B2B touch points, Information Framework data elements, Business Process Framework process flows and process elements, and Business Performance Measurement System metrics.

·         Interface implementation specifications including WSDLs and XSDs – Information Framework (SID)

Ernest Margitta, VP Marketing at Tribold, commented: “With so many CPSs focusing on optimizing lead-to-cash processes across their Ordering, CRM, Billing and Provisioning systems to improve the creating, launching and managing of their products, the consistent use of cross industry standards across business processes and data integration has come into stark focus.”

Margitta continued: “By joining forces in this vendor/operator project, the team aims to demonstrate that if you are compliant to ITIL you can easily gain significant benefits from eTOM.”
