Dear Delegates,

The Ministry of Communications of Turkmenistan, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, in collaboration with Summit Trade Events Ltd invite you to participate in the 6th Turkmenistan International Telecommunications, Broadcasting & Information Technology Conference, TurkmenTEL 2012, to be held in Ashgabat, 17-18 September, 2012.

TurkmenTEL 2012 is intended to familiarise both foreign and local delegates with current status as well as future prospects for the development of information and communication sector of Turkmenistan. The Government’s policy is aimed at supporting international and regional cooperation in the ICT sector. Telecommunications industry is inextricably linked to other important industries and sectors of Turkmenistan’s economy and the modernisation of communications and compliance with international standards and technology standards is a priority policy for Turkmenistan.

TurkmenTEL 2012 will provide a platform for strengthening regional and global cooperation in the ICT sector and provide telecommunications community the opportunity to meet and discuss issues key to the successful development of communication and information technologies, to exchange know-how, to determine the shape cooperation and investment opportunities. The leaders of the communications industry, representatives of governmental organizations and the well-known companies of foreign countries and Turkmenistan will deliver meaningful reports and presentations.

In the 6th International Conference TurkmenTEL 2012 will be attended by 200 delegates and 40 speakers. The Organising Committee will create all necessary conditions for international dialogue between key players in the ICT sector and will help to advance development of the ICT sector in Turkmenistan.
