Tvinci’s OTT Platform Named Best Web TV Technology or Service at CSI Product Awards

Tel Aviv, Israel – September 12th, 2011 – Tvinci, the Pay Over-the-Top video platform provider, today announced its OTT Platform has won the ‘Best Web TV technology or service’ category in the 2011 CSI Product Awards. The annual ceremony, which was held at IBC, Amsterdam, recognizes solutions that demonstrate technology innovation, market leadership and which meet a clear need in the industry. Judged independently, the Tvinci OTT platform was meticulously evaluated by an expert panel, which recognized its unique capacity to offer both service providers and end users an OTT experience with a personalized approach towards video consumption.

“We are delighted to be named as a winner of the highly-respected CSI Product Awards, and are pleased to be recognized as a company that provides the innovative OTT TV solutions the industry is looking for,” said Yonatan Sela, VP Marketing, Tvinci. “This success acknowledges Tvinci’s market-leadership within the OTT TV landscape, providing a solution to meet real needs, enhanced with un-matched flexibility that reflects the energy we have put into driving the industry’s fast-growing future.”

Tvinci was among the leading industry names in its category, which represents the latest game-changing developments in the online video sector. Tvinci’s OTT Platform was commended for innovation in enhancing the user experience, enabling service providers to manage and configure various device and domain backend parameters associated with end-user’s household accounts, both in terms of viewing and in terms of payment permissions.

“The brand new functionality within our OTT platform – the Device and Domain Management module – has been designed to answer recent needs in the TV industry,” added Yonatan. “These needs are the result of the multiplicity of devices used to consume media within the household and the need to make the content and experience personalized for the particular user, rather than the entire household.”

At this year’s IBC, Tvinci (booth 3.a15d) is providing demonstrations of its award-winning OTT platform, for operators, broadcasters and media companies seeking to offer users premium content across connected devices. Tvinci’s innovation in the OTT platform for 2011 includes a comprehensive personalized TV experience across tablets, connected TVs, STB, PC and smartphones, as well as unique device and user management tools.
