UKFast is Ambassador for North West in Hot 100 List

UKFast has stood up for the North West on the national stage once again, having been named in the Real Business Investec Hot 100 – a list dominated by London and South East companies.

The Hot 100 is an annual list of the UK’s fastest-growing businesses, recognising the firms that show how to withstand, or even prosper in, an economic downturn.

UKFast CEO Lawrence Jones said: “It’s wonderful to see so many technology firms in the list but I want to see more northern companies in the Class of 2014.

“The North West was at the heart of the first factories and mills; it was one of the fastest growing business communities during the industrial revolution. Now is no different. The North West is the greatest creative region in the UK and the home of the industrious revolution. I believe this region will be a breeding ground for some powerful businesses over the next 20 years.

“I’m delighted to see UKFast in the list in the middle of what has been our most successful awards season ever and in the week that we launch our revolutionary new cloud range eCloud.”

UKFast’s turnover grew 25% in the past year to hit the £20m mark and it is predicted to reach £25m by 2014 as part of its aim to reach £100m turnover by 2020.
