UKFast Recognised for VMware Expertise
Manchester-based cloud and hosting specialist UKFast has been named as a VMware Enterprise Service Provider, reaffirming the firm’s position as one of the leading providers of VMware vCloud solutions.
Jonathan Bowers, MD of UKFast, said: “This is a fantastic achievement as to attain this Enterprise status we have demonstrated a significantly high level of VMware expertise, so the accreditation recognises our considerable competence with VMware technology.
“This new status allows us to maximise VMware’s vCloud solutions to develop, deliver and support our enterprise standard cloud services.”
The accreditation coincides with the launch of UKFast’s latest cloud solution, MyCloudStack Virtual. MyCloudStack Virtual is built purely on VMware vCloud technology. By using VMware vCloud Director on the VMware vSphere platform, UKFast is able to build secure, shared private clouds by pooling infrastructure resources into virtual datacentres (vDCs).
