Ultra-D Glasses-Free 3D Screens Showcased DAVID ATTENBOROUGH’S NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM ALIVE 3D

LONDON, Feb. 17, 2014 – Stream TV Networks, Inc. is pleased to announce its participation with Sky 3D at London’s Natural History Museum was extended showcasing its revolutionary Ultra-D glasses-free 3D technology as part of an exhibit on DAVID ATTENBOROUGH’S NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM ALIVE 3D.

As the title indicates, the Natural History Museum is the central setting for the programme, so it seemed fitting to stage a promotion at the venue.  Marking the first time Ultra-D glasses-free 3D screens were on public display in the UK, two Ultra-D screens situated in the museum’s main hall presented highlights of the latest Sky 3D film from Britain’s best-loved broadcaster.

“Public response to our Ultra-D screens has been terrific and we are excited that Sky selected Ultra-D as the best glasses-free 3D technology in this instance,” said Stream TV CEO Mathu Rajan. “It’s a nice validation that our technology is really connecting with museum visitors, immersing them into the natural world of the past in a way that has not been possible before.”

Written and presented by the multi-award winning natural history broadcaster, DAVID ATTENBOROUGH’S NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM ALIVE marks his sixth 3D project for Sky.  Produced by Colossus Productions – a joint venture between Atlantic Productions and Sky 3D – the film is the result of a collaboration with the scientists of the Natural History Museum.  The BAFTA and Emmy award-winning team that produced the film includes the same 3D specialists behind recent blockbuster Gravity and visual effects artists whose combined credits include the successful Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings franchises.
