Unique SharePoint Permissions Management Tool re-Launches
Leading SharePoint solutions experts have launched a unique SharePoint permissions management tool that enables SharePoint Site Administrator to save valuable time. The software is available on both 2007 and 2010 editions of the software.
A leading SharePoint solutions specialist has released a new version of its SharePoint permissions management tool. The software allows large organisations, such as businesses and universities, to manage permissions more effectively than the process currently has in place, making the procedure quicker and easier.
DeliverPoint, software created by www.lightningtools.com, uses a unique permissions management tool; it is currently available on SharePoint 2007 and 2010.
Although there are other permission management tools available on the market, DeliverPoint is currently the only fully integrated SharePoint permissions tool that is directly aimed at Site Administrators (non Farm Administrators), allowing them to manage accounts without having to contact specific technicians, which can be inconvenient and timely.
Unlike with other software, DeliverPoint users have no need to install window applications or maintain separate web applications for permission reporting. Unlike other applications that can cost in excess of $20,000, DeliverPoint can be purchased for SharePoint 2007 and 2010 for $1,500 per web front end.
The software provides users with accurate permission reporting on each object and list item. DeliverPoint is designed to work with very large SharePoint implementations and can be configured to include or exclude domains and forests.
Furthermore, the DeliverPoint software allows users to simply remove ‘dead accounts’ rather than searching on a regular basis for accounts that may no longer be active. As well as this, DeliverPoint software has enabled users to be able clone and transfer SharePoint permission in a much quicker and efficient way, saving the user an endless amount of time.
