Telenor and UUX partner to launch MyTV, a next generation Internet TV Service initially provided for Telenor customers in Hungary

December 10, 2013, Budapest, Hungary— UUX today announced that it has provided Telenor Hungary with one of the world’s first Internet TV as-a-Service (iTaaS) platforms. The turnkey solution from UUX enables Telenor to offer its subscribers the MyTV service which includes live TV, catch-up TV and video-on-demand content, and can be accessed on all Internet connected devices and screens.

Christopher Laska, CEO of, Telenor Hungary and Lou Schwartz, CEO of UUX, officially launched the MyTV service in Budapest today.

The UUX intelligent iTaaS cloud-streaming platform can manage and support millions of daily multiscreen interactions. It brings a ‘unified’, smartphone-based user interface, enabling discovery, control and consumption of Live and Catch-Up television and Video-on-Demand content across all Internet connected devices and screens.

The service will come equipped with 14 channels covering news, children, sports and general interest programming, including including AXN, AXN White, AXN Black, DUNA, DUNA WORLD, Fashion Box, FilmBox, FilmBox Arthouse, FilmBox Extra, M1, M2, Sundance channel, Story4, Story5, and many more in the near future.

Telenor MyTV users will have unlimited access to an extensive Library of premium Hollywood content including movies and TV series free of charge for the first 3 months. Future expansion will include the introduction of different packages to Telenor subscribers.
