Former AIG Global Information Security Officer Paul de Graaff Joins Vanguard as Chief Strategy Officer
LAS VEGAS, July 9, 2013 – Vanguard Integrity Professionals, the experts on information security for IBM® System z® and cloud computing, today announced that American International Group’s former Global Information Security Officer Paul de Graaff has joined the company as chief strategy officer. De Graaff, a renowned chief information security officer in the financial services industry, brings more than 30 years of information security expertise to Vanguard’s management team. He is responsible for directing Vanguard’s strategies for helping enterprises secure their critical infrastructures.

Prior to joining AIG, de Graaff was corporate information security officer at Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation and held information security consulting and management positions at IBM and UNISYS in the United States, and at IBM, ING and ABN/AMRO in Europe. He was awarded the Top 100 IT Leadership Award in 2006 by Computerworld Magazine. De Graaff has served as a trusted advisor to key security companies such as Symantec, McAfee and RSA and is an advisory board member for several startup companies in the security, mobile payment and crowdsourcing markets.
