Securonix Selected on the Basis of Its Ability to Deliver Unlimited Scale, Advanced Analytics, and Behavior-Based Detection and Response in a Fully Managed, Cloud-Based SIEM Solution

LONDON, UK – 5th March 2020 – Securonix, Inc., a leader in next-gen SIEM, today announced a strategic partnership with Verizon through which Securonix’s cloud-based, next-gen SIEM solution will power Verizon’s new Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service.

Verizon selected Securonix because of its ability to deliver unlimited scale, advanced analytics, behavior detection, threat modeling, and automated incident response in a cloud-based solution. The Verizon MDR overlays Verizon’s core remote threat monitoring, detection and response capabilities with Securonix Next-Gen SIEM to provide a fully-managed solution that easily scales to meet the needs of companies of all sizes, while enabling internal teams to focus on other business priorities.

“Securonix Next-Gen SIEM is key in our ability to reinvent managed security services by incorporating pattern and behavioral detection techniques to elevate cyber-defense strategies for our customers,” said Felipe Boucas, Director Security Services, Global Products and Solutions, Verizon Business Group. “Securonix fits our MDR solution perfectly as a fully-managed cloud service that delivers advanced threat detection and response with built-in user and entity behavior analytics.”

Built on big data, Securonix Next-Generation SIEM combines log management, user and entity behavior analytics (UEBA), and security incident response into a complete, end-to-end security operations platform. It collects massive volumes of data in real-time, uses patented machine learning algorithms to detect advanced threats, and provides artificial intelligence-based security incident response capabilities for fast remediation.

“We are extremely proud of the strategic partnership with Verizon. This is a major milestone for Securonix and a testament to our product and technology that combines the power of big data, machine learning, and cloud-based delivery to combat advanced multi-cloud threats,” said Sachin Nayyar, CEO, Securonix.  “The fact that Verizon selected Securonix over other SIEM platforms illustrates the advantage that we provide in terms of scalability, threat detection and response, cost-effectiveness, and ease of management.”

The Securonix-Verizon partnership follows the announcement of Securonix Analytics Sandbox, a new capability that provides an isolated test environment within the production setup for security operations teams to test, tune, and validate new use cases prior to pushing to live production (see press release, “Securonix Enables Use Case Testing at Full SOC Scale with New Analytics Sandbox Capability”).
