Sessions at ITEXPO

Santa Clara, Calif., August 20, 2013Vertical Communications®, a leading provider of business communications software and solutions, announced that Kevin Butler, the company’s director of product management, will participate in two panel sessions on enterprise mobility trends at ITEXPO, one of the communications industry’s foremost conferences. ITEXPO will take place August 26-29 at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas. Mr. Butler’s first session, “When Trends Collide: Trends, Risks and Benefits of BYOD Strategies,” is scheduled for 10 am on August 27. He will then join the session, “The Multiple Personas of BYOD,” at 12:30 pm that same day.

“We are delighted that Kevin has been invited to share his experiences and perspectives on enterprise mobility with the attendees of ITEXPO,” said Steven De Korne, vice president of marketing for Vertical. “The BYOD movement has captured the attention of businesses looking to increase productivity and lower operating costs by integrating personal smartphones and tablets into the enterprise communications infrastructure. Vertical is at the forefront of bringing these solutions to market, and I’m certain that Kevin will offer the real world expertise and insight that audiences will find extremely useful.”

Regarded as the one of the most popular events in the communications sector, ITEXPO offers a wide range of educational programs that enable vendors, distribution partners and businesses to learn about a variety of innovations and strategies impacting communications. In addition, the conference hosts one of the largest exhibitions in the United States, attracting technology vendors from across the globe.

“As smartphones and tablets become more pervasive in the workplace, businesses are recognizing that bringing these devices into their networks can streamline communications throughout their organizations,” said Rich Tehrani, chief executive officer of TMC, chairman of ITEXPO. “Vertical Communications has already successfully delivered BYOD solutions into the market. We are excited that Kevin will join us in Las Vegas to discuss the various aspects that are required in order to successfully navigate the BYOD world.”
