VOSS Empowers Lattelecom to Go Live with Cloud-Based UC&C Business Services

READING, UK – Tuesday, May 10, 2011 – VOSS Solutions today announced that the unified communications and collaboration (UC&C) platform that it provides to Lattelecom has gone into production, enabling Lattelecom to offer its business customers next generation UC&C services from the cloud.

Founded in 1994, Lattelecom is the largest service provider in Latvia, offering integrated electronic communications and IT services, telecommunications, network design and installation services.

Lattelecom became a VOSS customer in August 2010 to support the growth in its managed services business. Lattelecom sought a centralized multi-tenant platform that simplified the process of migrating and administering multiple customers. Lattelecom also recognized that if it were able to provide devolved administration to customers, it would decrease the burden on NOC support and improve the customer experience.

Lattelecom selected Cisco Hosted Unified Communications Solution, a comprehensive converged IP communications system, at the heart of which is VOSS; an award-winning UC&C service delivery and management platform. VOSS is specifically designed for the delivery of managed UC&C services to multiple large scale customers.

The VOSS deployment was carried out across the Lattelecom infrastructure in impressive time, and as a result, Lattelecom now offers UC&C services to its business customers across the Baltic States. The first customer to be deployed onto Lattelecom’s UC&C platform is an agency of the Latvian government.

The VOSS real-time, fully automated UC&C service delivery and management platform provides Lattelecom with the tools to add new customers seamlessly, and administer all customers from a single centralized dashboard. VOSS has greatly simplified technical and business processes for Lattelecom, speeding time to market for UC&C services, while significantly lowering the total cost of ownership over the lifecycle of each service.

VOSS will also benefit Lattelecom’s business customers, by offering devolved administration, customizable interfaces, and simplified MACDs.

Stefan Peters, VP Sales EMEA, commented; “VOSS has enabled Lattelecom to simply and cost effectively offer complex bundles of next generation UC&C services to multiple business customers, regardless of their size and dispersion. VOSS enjoys a dynamic and collaborative relationship with Lattelecom, and both companies are delighted that Lattelecom is now the leading provider of UC&C services across the Baltic States.”
