Zinwave Ltd, a global supplier of in-building Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) for cellular and public safety coverage, has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Best TETRA Innovation category for the 2014 International TETRA Awards. The winners will be announced at a gala dinner and ceremony taking place at the Landmark Hotel, London, UK on the 21st February.
Now in their third year, the International TETRA awards have been created to recognize innovation in TETRA communications for mission critical and business critical applications. The awards are striving for technical excellence and only entries that demonstrate this have been nominated.
Zinwave DAS technology is being increasingly chosen as the solution of choice by building owners/managers because of its ability to support all public safety frequencies and standards (TETRA, c2000, P25 etc.) including non-standard frequency variations. In Saudi-Arabia, for example, 350 – 360MHz is used for public safety communications.
