Minsk Television to deploy ZTEsoft’s ZSmart cvBS converged solution in comprehensive billing system upgrade

29 April 2014, Shenzhen, China – ZTEsoft, the subsidiary of ZTE Corporation that specialises in providing industry-leading telecommunications software, solutions and services to operators globally, has announced that its ZSmart cvBS solution was selected by Minsk Television Information Networks in a comprehensive billing system upgrade project.

ZSmart cvBS will be deployed to manage payment-related functions including prepaid charging, postpaid billing, provisioning, mediation and settlement in Minsk Television’s main operations such as cable TV and DSL. The Belarusian operator selected ZTEsoft’s converged solution after an evaluation process of almost 12 months.

“ZTEsoft is pleased to support the upgrade of Minsk Television’s billing systems, which will help optimise operational efficiency and accelerate the time-to-market of new services,” said Zhou Yong, Vice President at ZTEsoft. “ZSmart cvBS is a solution designed to help operators transition their billing systems to meet the needs of today’s converged networks, and the deployment by Minsk Television will strengthen ZTEsoft’s presence in Belarus and other eastern European markets.”

ZSmart cvBS solution will enable Minsk Television to consolidate all legacy solutions and vendor-specific solutions into the centralised and converged ZSmart suite, shortening the time-to-market of new services. ZSmart cvBS will also help improve user experience by reducing and eliminating billing errors.
