New agreement will bolster Northamber’s established networking portfolio and build a strong core of loyal Zyxel partners across SMB, education and public sector
Wokingham, UK – September 8th, 2017 – Zyxel has announced a UK distributor contract with Northamber, the UK’s longest established Value Add Distributor with over 37 years’ heritage of supporting UK resellers. The agreement will see Northamber help resellers address their end user challenges using Zyxel’s end-to-end networking solutions, with a particular focus on SMB, education and public sector.
Northamber offers resellers a joined up “Connect, Store, Protect” solution encompassing networking, server, storage, backup and security. Northamber will bring Zyxel’s full portfolio of networking products to market within this offering, primarily focusing on its security and Nebula cloud Wi-Fi solutions.
“We needed a distributor partner that can provide a real solutions focus, would enable us to reach a new reseller base and give us better penetration, particularly in the security and cloud solutions markets,” said Peter Hannah, Head of UK Channel, Zyxel. “Northamber’s high level of technical expertise along with its loyal established customer base makes it an ideal match for the areas that we want to grow.”

The partnership will also help attract more partners to Zyxel’s revamped partner programme, designed to support and reward partners for investment in technology solutions. Since the launch of the Zyxel Ally Programme (ZAP!) in April 2017, new and existing partners have seen revenue margins increase. This has been driven by Zyxel’s higher end products, such as managed wireless, switching and Nebula.
